Millennium Development Network [MDN] is an international consultancy corporation specialized in the fields of governance, international development and alternative diplomacy. With an innovative business approach and original methodology MDN defines itself as a “social knowledge enterprise” that is based upon its three main pillars. Accordingly, it links academic research with policy consulting and works to promote solutions for various social issues.
Millennium Development Network [MDN] is the reflection of a global ambition of an original regional initiative, the Middle East Development Network [MDN]. Started as a local project in late 2013 in Istanbul, MDN quickly proved to be a competitive regional player, and in 2016 its founder Murat Daoudov decided to launch its global brand. From 2017 on, Millennium Development Network sets its global home base in New York while keeping its acronym MDN as well as its original values.
MDN is a network of experts and professionals, and a platform for ideas and innovation. It ambitions to bring a new spirit and a fresh perspective to the international development. Its founders mainly come from the local government professional background. Thus the organization also often calls itself "the cities network", and this is not just a coincidence. Our acronym “MDN” on the corporate logo forms the Arabic word "mudun", which means “cities.” In fact cities, urban management, local government and local economic development are at the core of our work. Regionally and world-wide.
Millennium Development Network has a global vision and plans an international outreach, but if you want to know better about its roots and philosophy please check the message of its founder and read about its original MDNspiration.
